Something I'd like you to know about me: I am initially a shy person, but then I can be too open. I am learning to control myself and think things through before I speak. Sometimes I just need to slow down. I am a person that wants to be able to do things without going through the learning process. Being with the Lord has definitely helped me a great deal, but I still have so much to learn. Patience is what I always pray for in all areas in my life. I am married to my high school sweetheart. He is a great husband, a wonderful father to our three beautiful kids and always keeps us laughing. I've surely been blessed.
Why I do what I do: I love being a part of a church family and never imagined I would have any type of skill to help serve the Lord in this way.
My favorite things:
- Sports: Baseball or football. Anything my son Austin is playing. Although, watching him play football is quite nerve-racking.
- Music: I love all types of music, depending on my mood. I listen to the Katinas, often. I also like Queen, Aerosmith, Earth, Wind and Fire, Casting Crowns.
- Movies: I can watch Somewhere In Time and A Walk To Remember over and over. I also love West Side Story, I just wish there was an alternate ending.
- Books/Authors: Anything from Nicholas Sparks. I especially love The Wedding and Three Weeks With My Brother.
- Activities: If I had more time, I would love to ride my bike more. I also love reading, watching HGTV and shopping isn't bad, either.
- Food: Love chocolate and homemade cookies.
