Something I'd like you to know about me: God has gifted me with a fun and energetic personality which has opened up opportunities in my life for fun. I have a BS degree in Recreation Adminstration and am work in the hotel industry....as you can see I am a very social person. I have a wonderful and handsome hubby, Todd, and 3 rockin' kids (as in rocked my world), Brandon, Amanda and Dayna. Although I wish FUN was my middle name, I take my spiritual life and growth very seriously, as I was especially created by God to serve the church body.
Why I do what I do: What I really love about serving in this minsitry is that it is the most unlikely thing I would have done on my own accord. I am not more quaified than anyone else, and it is amazing how God is willing to use a person like me. But the big plus is that my ministry is a vehicle to connect with people that I would not connect with in my "box" of a life.
My favorite things:
- Sports: I like to play volleyball but like to watch baseball.
- Music: I am open to most types of music, the beat has to be kickin' , the lyrics have to be able to move me or both.
- Movies: I like a good story.
- Books/Authors: I have not read too many books in my life, but if you are going to pick one up I suggest "The Shack." It's a great story and get's you to think out of the "box."
- Activities: I enjoy outdoors, family vacations, and my hobby is papercrafts.
- Food: all time favorite...Japanese.
