Something I'd like you to know about me: God has given me the freedom to do many things. I’ve traveled, ran in marathons, and changed careers. I realize that it is through Him I am able to do the things I choose to do. Being single has been a blessing and allows me more opportunity to help my family, especially my mom who is now a widow, and to be more of service to my church family.
Why I do what I do: I think I will always be a kid at heart. I have always enjoyed spending time with kids, especially toddlers. I think they are just so funny. Being with them brings out my creativity in playing games, doing crafts, and other activities. Because I think like a kid, it was only fitting for me to serve in our Children's Ministry. I currently supervise the nursery, preschool, and elementary classes for church. I feel this is where I can best serve God at this time in my life.
My favorite things:
- Sports: Tennis, Volleyball, Snowboarding
- Music: Jazz, Big Band, Soul, Pop, a little bit of everything
- Movies: Finding Nemo, Anne of Green Gables
- Books/Authors: The Unusual Suspect by Stephen Baldwin
- Activities: Hiking, Mountain Biking, Watching Movies
- Food: Sushi, Chow Fun, Pizza, Cheesecake, Ice Cream
If I could spend time with any historical person...I would like to have met both of my grandfathers. Both of them passed away before I was born and I always wondered what they were like.
